PM pays homage to Bangabandhu

DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his portrait on the premises of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi Tuesday morning making the 44th Victory Day.

After paying tributes to Father of the Nation, the Prime Minister stood for some time in solemn silence when bugles played the last post.

The Premier, also the president of Bangladesh Awami League, placed wreaths to pay homage to Bangabandhu as the party chief.

Senior leaders of Awami League and a large number of leaders and workers and associate organizations of Awami League were also present during the time.

After placing wreath to Bangabandhu, the premier unveiled a commemorative stamp at Ganobhaban marking the Victory Day.
