DHAKA: A youth was killed as a passenger bus knocked him down in city’s Moghbazar Rail Crossing area on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Shariful Islam, 20. He used to work in the area.

Police sources said that a passenger bus knocked Shariful down while he was crossing the road in the area around 12:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

Sub-Inspector of Ramna Thana Ashraful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
