RAJBARI: A man was shot to death by robbers at Boalia Ambaria village of Kalukhali Upazila of the district early Monday.

The victim was identified as Mafiz Uddin, 30, of the village.

Police said being informed about a gang of robber attacked the village around 2:00am. Sensing the presence of them, the villagers besieged the robbers.

While fleeing the scene, the robbers opened fire on the villagers indiscriminately that left Mafiz dead on the spot.
