NAOGAON: At least two passengers were killed and ten others injured in a road accident in Chawkgopal area in Porsha upazila on Saturday morning.

The identity of the deceased and injured could not be known immediately. 

Quoting witnesses, police said a passenger bus turned turtle on Naogaon-Niyatpur road around 10:30am as its driver lost control over the steering due to poor visibility caused by thick fog, killing two people on the spot and injuring others.

On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the injured to local hospitals.

Porsha thana officer-in-charge Shaheen Kamal confirmed the matter to banglanews.
