BAGERHAT: Two robbers were killed in a gunfight with Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in Chadpai range of Sundarbans at 9:45am Friday.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Rab-8 commander Lt Col Faridul Alam said, on information of presence of the robbers of Daroga Bahini, Rab personnel took position in the area on Thursday afternoon.

On Friday morning, Rab members asked over mike them to surrender. But the robbers opened gun fire at Rab and for defence Rab member also opened fire, leaving two robbers dead on the spot.
