COX’SBAZAR: Ten Chhatra Shibir-BNP activists were detained after they hurled three cocktails at the car of police super Shyamol Kumar Nath on Wednesday midnight.

Witnesses and police said that three 20-party groups, consisting around 50 activists, blasted eight cocktails within a minute in the area.

At that time, they also hurled cocktails at SP’s car, however none was reportedly hurt.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Thana Kazi Motiul Alam said, police held 10 BNP-Jamaat men on allegation of involvement in those blasts.
