DHAKA: A motorcyclist was killed and another one injured in a road accident in city’s Demra area on Monday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Murshed, 24, son of Gulam Mustafa of the area.

Police sources said that a rashly driven passenger bus crushed into the motorbike in the area around 1:45pm, leaving Murshed and Gulam Mustafa injured critically.

They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Murshed succumbed to his injuries.

Demra Thana Sub-Inspector Pankaj Chandra Sarker confirmed the matter to banglanews.
