BOGRA: Three persons were killed and five others injured in a road accident in Noymile area under Shajahanpur upazila of the district on Monday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said that a passenger bus collided head on with a truck on Dhaka-Bogra highway in the area around 5:00pm, leaving three people dead on the spot and five others injured critically.

However, the injured were rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogra.

Shajahanpur Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdul Mannan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
