THAKURGAON: India’s Border Security Force (BSF) nabbed a Bangladeshi Jamal Hossian (28) from Paria frontier area of Baliadanga upazila of the district.

Members of BSF Bargharia camp detained Jamal, son of late Sahed Ali of Raypur village of Barhatta upazila of Netrokona district, at 10:00pm on Monday as he entered India illegally.

However, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-30 of Thakurgaon has sent a letter to BSF for flag meeting to return the detainee.

BGB-30 director Lt Col Tushar Bin Yousuf on Tuesday morning told banglanews that Jamal was handed over to Indian police in accusation of illegal entrance.

Local sources said that Jamal went India seeking job in the country.

He was nabbed when retuning home, they added.
