MUNSHIGANJ: Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a truck, carrying a huge amount of books of primary education board in front of Hamdard University in Bhaber Char of the district on Monday morning.

The driver of the truck suffered burns while his helper received other injuires in the attack. At least 19,000 pieces of books were also gutted in the fire.

Bhaber Char Highway police Sergeant Saiful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Truck driver Harunur Rashid said some miscreants hurled a petrol bomb targeting the Lakshmipur-bound truck from Dhaka while it was crossing Meghna Bridge this morning.
