BRAHMANBARIA: Train services of Dhaka halted with Chittagong and Sylhet on Friday afternoon following derailment at Puniaut Rail Station.

Sources told banglanews that three compartments of Chattala Express train derailed there around 4:30pm.

None was reportedly injured in that accident, sources added.

Mahidur Rahman, station master of Puniaut, confirming the matter said that a relief train, which had already started for the destination from Akhaura, will soon reach the spot and will fix the derailed train.

On the other hand, a good number of trains, following the accident, are waiting for green signal at different stations on Dhaka-Chittagong and Chittagong-Sylhet ways.
