COXSBAZAR: Three human traffickers were killed and three cops sustained bullet injuries during a gunfight in Teknaf upazila of Coxsbazar early Friday.

The deceased were identified as Dhalu Hossain, 55, Jahangir Alam, 34 and Jafar Alam, 38, residents of same upazila.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-In-Charge of Teknaf Thana Ataur Rahman said the gunfight took place at 3:30am in Hatchery Island. Several cases relating human trafficking were filed against the deceased men, he added.
