Mom ‘kills’ kids, attempts ‘suicide’

CHITTAGONG: A woman allegedly attempted to suicide after slaughtering her son and daughter at Aamtoli village under Lohagara Upazila early Wednesday.

Being informed, police recovered the bodies of 7-year-old girl and two-year-old boy. Their mother, who sustained injuries due to suicide attempt, was admitted to local hospital.

Lohagara Thana officer in-Charge Mohammad Shahjahan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
