DHAKA: The death toll from the Magura truck arson has raised to four as another victim succumbed to his injuries at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday.

The deceased was indentified as M Yadul Molla, 18, helper of the truck, son of late Jahur Molla of Gram Malik village under Magura Sadar.

He lost his battle for life from 90 percent burn injuries around 9:45am at ICU of DMCH burn unit.

On March 21, miscreants hurled petrol bomb at the truck on Magura-Jessore highway, leaving nine people severely burnt.

Later on March 22, Matin Biswas, Shakir Molla and Roushan Biswas succumbed to their injuries at DMCH.
