DHAKA: One hundred and thirty six more Bangladeshis will be brought back to Dhaka from war-torn Yemen.
A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines will land in Bangladesh Tuesday carrying them from Djibouti, where they took shelter when situation went out of control.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs made the disclosure at a press briefing at his office Monday.
Shahriar Alam said, “So far we came to know there are at best 700-800 Bangladeshis in Yemen. 508 of them have registered to come back to country.”
He also added that some 337 Bangladeshis returned in two phases and others will be taken back if they want.
