DHAKA: A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in Merul Badda area of the city Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Selim, 30.

Witness pedestrian Nayan Bahadur said a bus hit the motorbike in the area around 8:30am, leaving Selim severely injured.

Locals rushed him to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where the attending doctors declared him dead around 9:30am.

DMCH Police Camp assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Sentu Chandra Das confirmed the matter to banglanews.
