DHAKA: The government has changed office timings for government, semi-government and private institutes during Ramadan.

The timing has been fixed at between 9am and 3:30pm on all working days.

The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting, with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair on Monday.

Cabinet Secretary Muhammad Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan disclosed it while talking to reporters after the meeting.

There will be a 15-minute break from 1.15pm for Zohr prayers during office time.
