DHAKA: A housewife reportedly died after falling from the roof of her in-law’s house in city’s Badda area on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Shimu Akhtar (25), wife of a Saudi-expatriate Qamruzzaman.

Shimu’s sister-in-law said that the victim was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where she succumbed to her injuries.

She further said that Shimu went to the roof to hang cloths on cloth-line at noon. She might fall from the roof.

DMCH police camp assistant sub-inspector (SI) Sentu Chandra Das confirmed the matter banglanews.

The victim’s brother-in-law has been nabbed in this regard, the SI added.
