DHAKA: State minister for home affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal categorically said that none involved in killing of a minor boy Rajon in Sylhet will be spared.
One of the accused is in remand while another one has been arrested, he added.
Kamal made the assertion to the media at home affairs ministry in secretariat in city on Monday afternoon.
Other people, who were involved in the killing, will also be arrested soon, the state minister added.
Earlier in the day, a Sylhet court placed Muhit Alam, the prime accused of Rajon killing case, on a five-day remand for police interrogation.
Judge of Judicial Magistrate Court-2 Farhana Yeasmin passed the order in response to a seven-day remand plea of police.
A 13-year old Rajon was brutally killed in accusation of stealing on July 9. The killers tried to take the body in a microbus (Dhaka Metro-Cha-54-0516) to dump outside. Locals caught one Muhit Alam (22) and handed over him to the police.
Rajon was the son of Sheikh Azizur Rahman, a microbus driver in profession of Kandigaon union under sadar upazila of the district.
A 28-minute video clip on the brutal torture to the boy to death has gone viral on the internet, creating a firestorm on the social media.
