Enclaves’ old land record hand over Monday

LALMONIRHAT: Old documents of land record of recently dissolved 162 enclaves are going to be exchanged on Monday.

The document hand over will be held at a joint meeting of District Magistrate (DM) of India and deputy commissioner (DC) of Bangladesh at Chenrabandha land port inside India.

As per the decision of DM-DC level joint talks held on July 7, after 1912’s old records of 162 enclaves of both countries will be exchanged today.
Date of going to India by 979 people, who choose to be Indian citizenship, will also be finalized during the joint meeting.

Alongside, of them who will enter India through what land ports and following what process will also be finalized.

In the meeting to be held around 12 noon, Lalmonirhat deputy commissioner Habibur Rahman will lead the Bangladesh delegation.
