Elevated Expressway construction begins

DHAKA: The construction work of the main structure of 19-kilometer Dhaka elevated expressway has begun from Sunday aiming to reduce the capital’s traffic congestion.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader inaugurated the work at Kawla near to Shahjalal International Airport 11:30am.

The expressway will connect Shahjalal airport with Kutubkhali via Mohakhali, Tejgaon and Kamalapur.
