DHAKA: Bangladesh ambassador to The Netherlands Sheikh Muhammad Belal called for establishment of ‘Bangabandhu Chair’ in different countries.

He made the call while observing on the 40th anniversary of the martyrdom of father of nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August 15 at Bangladesh embassy at The Hague.

The envoy upheld the importance of extensive research on Bangabandhu presenting his life and works.

Speakers of the discussion talked about different aspects of Bangabandhu’s struggling life for the emancipation of Bangali nation.

They also paid tribute to the martyrs of August 15 of 1975 and prayed for the salvation of the departed souls.
