BAGERHAT: Three bodies were recovered from Alorcole and Morar Char of Sundarban area on Tuesday afternoon.

They were among the missing fishermen, who earlier fell victims of trawler capsize in the Bay of Bengal.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, coastguard Dublar Char station in-charge Abdul Qaiyum two bodies were found on the shore of Alorcole lighthouse area and one near Morar Char.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, he added.

He also feared that number of the dead may increase.

However, over one hundred fishermen have remained missing as trawlers and fishing boats were capsized in the bay due to sea storm on September 20.
