SAVAR (DHAKA): At least two people were killed and 15 injured as the second floor of an under-construction building collapsed in Dhamrai upazila of Dhaka district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Shamsul Islam (35) and Delwar hossain Sujon (25).

The injured are admitted to Enam Medical College and Hospital in Savar.

Dhamrai Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Rizaul Haque told banglanews that they have heard that some are still in debris.

On information, police have been sent to spot, the OC added.
