PM condoles hajj stampede death

DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her deep condolence at the death of hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

A tragic stampede near Makkah has left at least 310 people dead and over 400 injured on Thursday.

The PM, who is currently staying in New York for United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), sent the condolence message.

PM’s deputy press secretary Ashraful Alam Khokon informed banglanews.

In her message, the PM prayed for eternal salvation of departed souls and immediate recovery of the injured.
