DHAKA: The main eid congregation was held at National Eidgah in city at 8:00pm on Friday. Baitul Mukarram senior imam Mohammad Mizanur Rahman conducted the prayers.
President Abdul Hamid, cabinet members, political leaders, diplomats and people of other professions attended the prayers.
They also exchanged eid greetings with each other.
However, Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated in the country on Friday with due solemnity and religious fervor.
