DHAKA: The sacrifice of animals is continuing on the second day of Eid-ul-Azha in city on Saturday.
But the number of sacrificing animals is remarkably lower than the first day of the eid festival.
Some devotees sacrificed their cattle in city’s Badda, Rampura, Malibagh, Moghbazar, Jatrabari, Dayaganj, Dholaikhal and other neighborhoods this morning.
However, people were seen sacrificing animals ignoring the city corporations’ request of slaughtering sacrificial animals in the specific places, announced by the corporations.
Joynal Abedin talked to banglanews after sacrificing his cow in a lane near Malibagh Bazar. He said that he sacrificed a cow on the first day of eid and sacrificing another on the second day.
‘This is arranged just to avoid the hassle of qorbani of two cows in a day,’ he added.
