2 held with fake currencies in Sherpur

SHERPUR: Police detained two people along with fake currencies worth Tk1.17-lakh from Sadar Upazila of the district Sunday evening.

The detained were identified as Emdad Ali, 45 and Lavlu, 38, both hailed from Satpakia village of the upazila.

Sadar Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mazharul Karim confirmed the matter to banglanews.
