FENI: Three riders of a motorcycle were killed as a passenger bus knocked them down in Daganbhuiyan upazila of Feni district on Monday evening.

Five more people were also injured in the accident.

The deceased were identified as Omar Faruk Amzad Rocky (25), son of Mohammad bulbul; Imam Hussain Sujon, son of Abdul Gafur and Mezbaul Haque Panni of Chanpur area of Daganbhuiyan municipality.

Witnesses said that losing his control over steering, driver of a Noakhali-bound bus of ‘Sugandha Paaribahan’ hit a motorbike, leaving the trio dead on the spot.

Daganbhuiyan Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Aslam Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
