NOAKHALI: A district court sent an 11-year boy among 65 leaders and activists of BNP in Chaumuhani upazila of Noakhali district on Tuesday.

The session judge of Noakhali judicial magistrate-3 (Begumganj) sent them to jail after the accused of a violence case had surrendered.

Senior judicial magistrate Masafiqul Haque passed the order after a hearing.

The court also summoned the case investigation officer for the inclusion of a minor boy Sagar in the case.

However, the case was filed following a clash between police and BNP men in January that left two people dead.
