1 held with 2-kg gold at Shahjalal

DHAKA: Customs house authorities detained a man with 2-kg gold at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in city on Monday afternoon.

The detainee has been identified as Mohammad Mamun (40) of Shariatpur district.

Customs house assistant commissioner (AC) Santosh Saren told banglanews that Mamun was coming from Saudi Arabia in the flight BG-036, Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

His passport no. is 0951408, the AC added.
