DINAJPUR: Three people were killed and four others injured in a road crash in Goplaganj area of sadar upazila of Dinajpur district on Thursday noon.

The deceased were identified as Tuhin Hossain (19), Babul Hossain (42), and Abdus Sattar (45) of Goplaganj Mandirpara in Chehelgazi union of the upazila.

Dinajpur Kotwali Thana officer-in-charge (OC) AKM Khalikuzzaman told banglanews that a truck collided with a shallow engine-run human hauler (Nosimon) in the area around 12:00pm, leaving one dead on the spot and six other injured.

Of the injured, two others succumbed to their injuries at Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital, the OC added.
