KHULNA: Editor of Dainik Pubanchal published from Khulna, Alhaj Liakat Ali, and director of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), died of cardiac arrest early Sunday.

He breathed his last at Holy Family Hospital in Dhaka around 12:00am.

Dainik Purbanchal senior reporter and Khulna Press Club general secretary Subir Kumar Ray informed the death news to banglanews around 12:30am.
Liakat Ali was the Editor and publisher at Dainik Purbanchal in Khulna.

Khulna Press Club president Makbul Hossain Mintu and general secretary Subir Kumar Roy expressed his sympathy to the bereaved family members.

They also sought eternal peace of his departed soul.
