The Ministry of Religious Affairs will unveil the 2026 Hajj packages for Bangladeshi pilgrims on Sunday (Sept 28). 

Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain will formally announce the packages at 5 pm in the ministry’s conference room at the Secretariat, officials said.

Ministry spokesperson Abubakar Siddique confirmed the announcement on Saturday, noting that in 2025, the government had introduced two Hajj packages. 

The first package cost BDT 478,242, while the second was priced at BDT 575,680. Private-sector packages had been set at BDT 483,156.

The ministry indicated that the upcoming 2026 Hajj packages will be slightly lower in cost compared with last year’s rates.
