2 ‘robbers’ killed in Sundarbans ‘gunfight’

BAGERHAT: Two suspected robbers, including ringleader of Monir Bahini, were killed in gunfight with members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) near Urubaria khal of Chandpai range of the Sundarbans on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Monir, 32, kingpin of robber gang Monir Bahini, and his accomplice Nur Mohammad alias Bhola Mama.
 
RAB-8 commanding officer Major Faridul Alam informed the matter to banglanews.
