72 held in Ctg special drives

CHITTAGONG: Police detained at least 72 persons conducting special drives in different parts of Chittagong district.

Moreover, 38 liters of locally-made liquor and 272 pieces of yaba tablets were also seized during the overnight drive on Friday.

District additional police super (special branch) Kazi Abdul Awal confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Sources said that among the arrestees, 54 were warranted accused and 18 were of regular cases.
