7 teens returned home from India after 3-yr

BENAPOLE (JESSORE): Seven Bangladeshi teenage boys, who were trafficked in India three years age, have returned home on Monday (January 4).

India Petrapole Immigration Police handed over them to Bangladesh Benapole Checkpost Immigration Police around 5:00pm.

Later, Bangladesh Women Bar Council took the returnees in their custody.

The boys were identified as Zahidul (17), son of Rahish Uddin and Rahman Ali (16), son of Idris of Satkhira district; Hafizur (15), son of Maharaj and Arif (14), son of Kabir of Bagerhat; Abul (16), son of Rashid and Sadique (15), son of Halim of Jessore; and Chandan Kaur (15), son of Anukul of Gopalganj.

Benapole Immigration sub-inspector (SI) Khairul Islam told banglanews that Bangladesh Women Bar Council will sent the rescued boys to their families.
