CHITTAGONG: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members seized 1,000,000 pieces of yaba tablets from a trawler conducting a special drive in the Bay of Bengal in early hours of Wednesday (January 6).

Moreover, owner of the trawler was also nabbed during the drive.

RAB-7 director Lieutenant Colonel Mifta Uddin Ahmed confirmed the matter banglanews.

According to him, the smugglers are now using the sea route as the law enforcers are strongly monitoring the land routes.
