DHAKA: The Consular Corps in Bangladesh (CCB) on Thursday extended its hands to charitable organization ‘JAAGO Foundation’ in distributing blankets for the poor people.

The CCB members donated the money to use for purchasing and distributing blankets amongst the needy people in Bangladesh’s worst affected areas.

They have raised and contributed a handsome amount to purchase blankets.

CCB president Asif A Chowdhury handed over to fund to JAAGO Foundation founder Korvi Rakshand at a ceremony in the CCB office in city, a press release said.

Former ambassador and CCB adviser Raziul Hasan along with CCB treasurer Amiruzzaman were also present at the hand over ceremony, the release added.
