MANIKGANJ: The ferry services on Daulatdia-Paturia route resumed Saturday morning after more than 7-hour halt due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.
Due to dense fog, the authorities of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) temporarily halted the ferry services on Daulatdia-Paturia route.
BIWTC Paturia Ghat commercial department manager Salauddin told banglanews that the decision to halt ferry services was taken around 3:00am to avoid accident as marking lights were not visible.
