NARAYANGANG: A court here sentenced two persons to death in the sensational Sadia Akter murder case.

District Additional No-2 and Sessions Judge Fouzul Azim delivered the verdict on Monday.

Convicts are Abu Mia, son of Abdus Sattar and Nasir son of late Abdur Rahman of Nagarpara Faitadi village under Araihazar upazila.

According to the case statement, convicts killed Sadia Akter, a class-II student, on August 17 in 2010 at Nagarpara Faitadi village for gold earrings.

A murder case was filed in this connection against the convicts.
