KISHOREGANJ: President Abdul Hamid is set to arrive here on his maiden visit Saturday afternoon after taking office as President.

He will be accorded a grand reception at town’s old stadium at around 3:20pm

During his two-day visit, Government GuruDoyal College and district Lawyer Somity will accord receiption to the President at around 11:00am and 12:30pm Sunday respectively.

Centering President’s visit Kishorganj town has been decotared newly. Adninstration and intelegecne agencies took necessary steps to tighten the security.

Kishoreganj Police Super Anwar Hossain Khan told banglanews that Police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), Army personnel and intelegence agency members were deployed in the town.”

Reception celebrating committee convener Majharul Islam Bhuiyan, also municipal mayor, told banglanews that all sorts of preparations have been completed. And now we are waiting for the President.
