BRAMHANBARIA: Two hospital rooms gutted and six people were injured in a devastating fire broke out at Christian Memorial Hospital near Uttar Mourail area in the district on Friday.

Sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit in the ground floor of the hospital around 06:15pm.

District’s Fire Service Station Officer M Waliullah Ali told on information, two units of fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.

At least six people were injured as they rushed to escape from the building fearing blaze, he added.
