Major Gen Shakil Ahmed new DG of Passport office

DHAKA: Major General Shakil Ahmed has been appointed as the director general to the Department of Immigration and Passports Office.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification on Thrusday (September 19).

He will replace Major General Md Shohail Hossain Khan who has been transferred to Bangladesh Tea Board as its chairman.

Besides, Major General Jahangir Al Mustahidur Rahman, present Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Board, has been attached to the Armed Forces for returning to the Bangladesh Army.
