DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-1) in a nightlong drive arrested 10 drug peddlers with huge heroin and other related equipments from capital’s Uttara area early Thursday.

Seven of the detainees are Chinese nationals while rests are Bangladeshi citizens.

RAB-1 sources said that acting on a tip off that they were nabbed by RAB officials from a house of sector-3 of the area with heroin and other illegal equipments.

The details will be disclosed through a press briefing later on, they added.

Legal and Media Wing Director of RAB, ATM Habibur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
