THAKURGAON: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) abducted a Bangladeshi farmer from Ratnai Border under Baliadanga upazila of the district on Friday.

The victim is Khabir Uddin, son of Khoka Mahmud of Morolpara village of the upazila.

Sources said that BSF personnel abducted Khabir while he was cutting grass in the border around 11:30am.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Thakurgaon sector commander Colonel Ikbal Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
