DHAKA: Pro opposition BNP and Jamaat lawyers staged a procession in the Supreme Court area supporting hartal on Sunday.

Sources said BNP-Jamaat lawyers brought out the procession from the Supreme Court Bar Association office.

The procession paraded Annex Bhaban and when it reached in front of main gate police obstructed it, said a spot account of the incident.

Later, a protest rally held at Supreme Court Bar Association office.

Supreme Court Bar Association former president, also BNP chairperson advisor, Advocate Joynul Abedin and BNP joint secretary general and Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum secretary general Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokan spoke.
