DHAKA: The opposition BNP demanded resignation of Election Commissioners as they provided registration to Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF) as a political party.

BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed came up with the claim in a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan central office on Tuesday noon.

He said the election commission violated the constitutional neutrality by providing registration to BNF.

Besides, he also demanded the cancellation the registration given to the BNF.
