DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Tuesday placed BNP senior leader ASM Hannan Shah on a two-day remand in two cases filed with Bhatara Police Station.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Tareque Moinul Islam Bhuiyan passed the order after Sub-Inspector Ekramul Haque Mannan, produced him before the court seeking a 10-day remand in an arson case filed with the police station.
ASM Hannan Shah was shown arrested in two cases filed with Bhatara and Motijheel police stations.
On Monday night, Detective Branch (DB) of Police detained Hannan Shah near Natun Bazar area under Baridhara of the city.
