SYLHET: District 18-party alliance called dawn-to-dusk hartal for Wednesday demanding release of party activists and leaders.

Meanwhile, District and Metropolitan Chhatra Dal also called dawn-to-dusk hartal for the same day demanding the release of central president Abdul Kader Bhuiyan Jewel.

Sylhet Metropolitan BNP president and 18-party alliance convener MA Haque declared the hartal in a rally on Saturday morning.

Confirming the matter District Chhatra Dal former Organizing Secretary Mahbubul Haque Chowdhury told banglanews, “The hartal would be harder ever than before.”
